Last chance for HP5, Youtube companion post

I recently put up a video on my youtube channel. Go watch it if you haven’t!
I don’t have too much to add to the video, more than that I’m still not convinced about HP5. I’m going to try Delta 400 next, and the search continues for my default 400 ISO – film.
I haven’t discarded HP5 completely though, I want to see it in the darkroom as well. I’ll keep you posted when I’ve had the opportunity to spend some time in the dark with some chemicals.
But I can say I’m impressed by the negatives from HP5 when pushed to ISO 800. Clean and beautiful. For some reason more scratches than normal, but I think it’s down to some manhandling.

I also realised I need to upgrade my scanning. I currently use the Epson V600, which is decent, but it does feel like it’s leaving some on the table. Therefore I recently placed an order for the Essential Film Holder, which hopefully will arrive in a month or so. I’m also looking into light tablets, and a macro-lenses for the X-H2. I do feel like the x-h2 would produce super scans. Might even get some use out of the pixel shift technology.

Anyhow, I’m rambling, for now, enjoy the images from my last video.

Love
Oscar
